We hope you have had (or will have) an opportunity to review them before Saturday’s endorsement meeting. \nWe have scheduled endorsements for the following strategically critical races at our upcoming general meeting on Zoom Saturday\, January 20th at 9:00am: \nOceanside City Council D4\nOceanside City Treasurer\nCarlsbad City Council D2 \nWith check-in and social time starting at 8:45. We expect this meeting to run about 90 minutes. \nRegister in advance for the meeting today. All are welcome\, but only members in good standing (I.E. paid and meeting club requirements) will be able to vote. \n\n~~~\n\nHere is the procedure we will be following: \n\nEach candidate will be given two minutes to make the case for their endorsement.\n2 questions will be gathered in writing during candidate statements from the audience and asked of all candidates for each position. DESCRIPTION:The Oceanside Democratic Club and Oak Tree Democratic Club will co-host an exclusive private tour of Coastal Roots Farm on the Leichtag Foundation property in Encinitas.  The tour is scheduled for Wednesday September 20 at 10:00am. \nCoastal Roots Farm is a nonprofit Jewish community farm and education center practicing organic farming while sharing their harvest with those who lack food access. They also provide a unique farm-based education program. They foster inclusive spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to celebrate Jewish life and catalyze a healthier\, more vibrant community and a more sustainable future for the region. \nThe tour will be led by Kesha Spoor\, Coastal Roots Farm’s Director of Philanthropy\, Program Strategy and Communications. \nKesha will also speak at the Oak Tree Democratic Club Meeting on Monday\, September 18 at 6:30PM.
