Every year at this time the Oceanside Democratic Club takes a break from politics and leans into the spirit of the season. In lieu of our regularly scheduled November meeting, we will be joining members of other local democratic clubs and (hopefully) a few candidates as we (walk not run) Turkey Trot for charity in support of the North County LGBTQ Resource Center and the North County Food Bank. Participants joining us in Turkey Trot Team “DEMOCRATS OF NORTH COUNTY” include members of the Oak Tree Democrats, DEMCCO, and Carlsbad Democrats.

INSTRUCTIONS: 

• When you register be sure to add yourself to an existing team and select “DEMOCRATS OF NORTH COUNTY” from the drop down.
• Our start time on Thanksgiving morning is 8:05am.
• The meeting place will be the Oceanside Civic Center at 330 N Coast Hwy prior to the start time so that we can all find each other before the Trot begins. Meet us on the steps of the Oceanside Library and plan to be there at 7:45AM, all chipper and ready to stroll (not run) the TT route. (Plan your usual travel time to downtown Oceanside and add at least 20 minutes for parking)
