Coastal Roots Farm Field Trip

The Oceanside Democratic Club and Oak Tree Democratic Club will co-host an exclusive private tour of Coastal Roots Farm on the Leichtag Foundation property in Encinitas.  The tour is scheduled for Wednesday September 20 at 10:00am.

Coastal Roots Farm is a nonprofit Jewish community farm and education center practicing organic farming while sharing their harvest with those who lack food access. They also provide a unique farm-based education program. They foster inclusive spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to celebrate Jewish life and catalyze a healthier, more vibrant community and a more sustainable future for the region.

The tour will be led by Kesha Spoor, Coastal Roots Farm’s Director of Philanthropy, Program Strategy and Communications.

Coastal Roots Farm operates with donations from the community and this exclusive tour is $10 per person.
